Missouri residents can report illegal telemarketing calls, robocalls and robotexts to the Missouri Attorney General's Office online or by phone at 866-662-2551 (No-Call Team), and can also sign up for the state's own do-not-call list.

Complaint rules

What to include in a complaint
Date and time of each call or text; the caller ID number exactly as shown (a screenshot helps); the company, seller or caller name given; what was offered; whether it was a prerecorded or artificial voice; any voicemail, recording or text; the date your number was put on the do-not-call list; and any earlier request you made to stop calling.
Deadlines and limitations
Private lawsuit limitation period (per TCPA.com research): 2 years. Complaint deadlines at the agency: none stated unless noted.

Private right of action
Yes After more than one solicitation in 12 months: actual monetary loss or up to $5,000 per knowing violation, whichever is greater (RSMo 407.1107(3)); due care defense applies.
